Wellspring, established
as The Bangor Half-way House in 1965, is a private non-profit agency
providing professional substance abuse assessment, diagnosis, and
treatment to adults and adolescents regardless of race, ethnicity, sex,
religion, political affiliation, marital status, physical, sexual
orientation or mental handicap, or ability to pay.
Wellspring carefully evaluates all
applicants for treatment, and makes referrals for clients who may need
other services.
The goal of all treatment is to offer
supportive care, help clients stabilize their recovery program, and
obtain the skills necessary to achieve reintegration into the community.
All employees strictly adhere to
federal and state regulations regarding client confidentiality.
